Biography

Saverio Suarez-Ribaudo

Italo Peruvian singing-teacher and tenor, was born in 1962 in Lima, Perú.                                   

He studied in Milan (Italy), Barcelona (Spain), Munich (Germany) and New York (USA).

From 1991 to 1992 and from 1996 to 2000 was engaged from the National Opera Munich as soloist (Tenor).

He performed ,among other places in Germany, in the National Opera, Cuvillie Theater, Herkulessaal and Prinzregententheater in Munich. Besides, he made concerts  in Italy, Spain, Germany and Austria and sang opera roles in South America. 

In 1989 he began with singing teaching as a parallel activity. Since 1998 he is full-time teacher in Germany, USA, Perú, Argentina and Italy.

He is member of the “Academic Singing Association” (AGV: Akademischer Gesangverein München), the “Association of German Singing Paedagogues” (BDG: Bundesverband Deutscher Gesangspädagogen), the “European Voice Teachers Association” (EVTA:  European Voice Teachers Association ), the “German Recorder's Association” (DTKV: Deutscher Tonkünstlerverband) and the “Bavarian Music Council” (BMR: Bayerischer Musikrat).

In April 2003 he founded "BelcantoArtist" (artist's agency for music theater and concert) in connection with his experience as singer and his durable activity as singing paedagogue.
